Medical Examiner Releases Drug-Related Death Report

The Knox County Regional Forensic Center released its 2016 Drug-Related Death Report for Anderson and Knox Counties. The report shows the number of drug-related deaths in Anderson and Knox Counties increased more than 25% from 2016 to 2016. Fentanyl has increased in prevalence as the cause of drug-related deaths, although prescription drugs are still frequently found in drug-related death cases.
