Seg\u00fan los datos m\u00e1s recientes de la encuesta nacional Monitoring the Future, los j\u00f3venes adultos que no van a la universidad tienen m\u00e1s del doble de probabilidades de declarar que consumen cannabinoides sint\u00e9ticos o catinonas sint\u00e9ticas que los que van a la universidad a tiempo completo. Casi uno de cada diez graduados de entre uno y cuatro a\u00f1os de ense\u00f1anza secundaria declar\u00f3 haber consumido cannabinoides sint\u00e9ticos, tambi\u00e9n conocidos como spice o K2, en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, en comparaci\u00f3n con el 4,3% de los estudiantes universitarios a tiempo completo.
