The group attended Tennessee Tuesday, a weekly breakfast hosted by Senator Lamar Alexander and Senator Marsha Blackburn and their staff, as well as met with Representative Chuck Fleischmann on Capitol Hill.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Newsletter6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4159\" src=\"http:\/\/asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Newsletter6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"716\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Newsletter6.png 716w, https:\/\/asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Newsletter6-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Newsletter6-18x12.png 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 716px) 100vw, 716px\" \/><\/a>Coalition Members and Staff with Senators Alexander and Blackburn<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Late February, ASAP continued their month of advocacy in Nashville, TN with state legislators. Coalition members, staff, and youth ambassadors joined coalitions across the state for Prevention Alliance of Tennessee (PAT) Day on the Hill. ASAP Youth Ambassadors sat down with Lt. Governor Randy McNally to advocate for substance misuse prevention as well as Representatives John Ragan and Dennis Powers. Ambassadors also participated in a Mock Senate Hearing in between meetings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Newsletter7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4162\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asapofanderson.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Newsletter7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"716\" height=\"538\" \/><\/a>Coalition Members, Staff, and Ambassadors with Lt. On March 5th, ASAP hosted a CME Training on Behavioral Aspects of Pain Management, which was very well attended \u2013 over 100 healthcare professionals and students. In addition to the CME Training, we are hosting a bi-monthly Lunch and Learn series on Opioid Alternatives.
